Activities and Events for Families

Lending Library
What:         A free lending library for parents and their children of preschool age.
When:        The first and third Friday of each month.
Where:       Take-A-Break activity at the Jeffery Hale Community Services building.

Travellin' Toddler Time
What:           A free activity for parents, grandparents and children aged three and four.  Sing songs, hear stories, enjoy a snack and make a craft.
When:          The second Friday of each month from October to June, excluding January.
Where:         This activity rotates between St. Brigid's Home, Quebec City Reading Council, The Morin Centre and Valcartier Family Centre in Ste-Foy.

Please Note: Registration for this activity is essential as space is limited to 12 families

  • APRIL 13TH 2012  - MORRIN CENTRE - The theme is Recycling.
  • MAY 11TH 2012 - QUEBEC CITY READING COUNCIL - The theme is Wild Animals.
  • JUNE 8TH 2012 - ST BRIGID'S HOME - The theme is Family.

Family Literacy Day
What:            A free fun activity for parents and children focusing on the importance of reading to your children.
When:           This activity was held on January 20th 2012
