Mission Statement
Quebec
City Reading Council is a volunteer-based not-for-profit community
organization. We promote and support lifelong learning through a
variety of free and confidential literacy services available to
English-speaking adults (16 years and over) in the Quebec City area.
Quebec
City Reading Council is governed by a Board of Directors: President -
Marilyn Baxter, Vice-president - Kirsten Harris, Treasurer - Gill
Ayre, Secretary - Tommy Hannan.
Volunteer For QCRC!!!
QCRC
is presently recruiting new members and partners within the community.
Volunteers contribute a variety of hours to the organization. Some tutor
on a weekly basis, while other volunteers are only available to help at the the occasional event. Whatever your schedule and interests, we
are committed to finding you a rewarding volunteer experience.
These stunning
mandalas were created by some of our students during a health literacy
workshop.
